We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds. Start by sending us an email at info@yike.ke with your CV, area of expertise, and availability. Our team will match you with a programme that fits your skills and schedule. Volunteer placements range from short-term project support to longer-term mentoring and training roles.
We seek partnerships across funding, technical assistance, co-implementation, and research. We work with international development agencies, foundations, corporate partners, government bodies, and fellow civil society organizations. Whether you want to fund a programme, co-design an intervention, or collaborate on research, we are open to creative partnership models.
Donations directly support our programme activities including training workshops, youth enterprise seed funding, civic engagement forums, and operational costs. We maintain transparent financial management and can provide detailed reports on how funds are utilized. Over 80% of all funds go directly to programme delivery.
YIKE is headquartered in Kariobangi North, Nairobi, but our programmes span multiple counties across Kenya. We have active programmes in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and the Rift Valley region, with governance initiatives reaching all 47 counties during election periods.

Yes. Youth Initiatives-Kenya (YIKE) is a fully registered non-governmental organization in Kenya. We have been operational since 2003 and maintain full compliance with the NGO Coordination Board. Our registration details and audited financials are available upon request.
